    For the question number 1 the answer is because they look for an almost extinct form of lemur called the aye-aye

    1. well they were sent to Madagascar to look an almost extinct lemur;the aye-aye. By the way, they needed a zoologist-Mark Carwadine and a journalist-Douglas Adams for the job.

    2. It wasn't an idea with a name but an idea from Observer Colour Magazine so there would a story and article for the company
